1. Acceptance

By using Gelato — that is, by using any of its commands, or by chatting in a server where Gelato awards experience — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use its commands.

2. What Gelato is

Gelato is a Discord application operated by an individual for a private Discord community. It provides a chat-activity leveling system, a daily check-in, party-game commands, and community information commands. It is provided free of charge and is not a commercial service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

artificially inflate your experience points — for example through spam, automated posting, alt accounts, or any method designed to bypass the rate limit and anti-spam rules
use Gelato's commands to harass, impersonate, or disrupt other members
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the bot, its host machine, or its data
use Gelato in a way that violates Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

4. Moderator discretion

Server administrators may adjust, reset, or remove any member's experience points and level at their discretion — for example to correct an error or to reverse points gained through the conduct described in section 3. All such adjustments are logged.

5. Availability and warranty

Gelato is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or data preservation. It runs on a single machine and may go offline for maintenance, upgrades, hardware failure, or any other reason, with or without notice. Experience points and levels carry no monetary value and confer no rights outside the community server.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, Gelato — including loss of experience points, levels, or roles.

6. Your data

Gelato stores a small amount of data about you in order to operate the leveling system. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored, why, and how to have it deleted.

7. Termination

The operator may stop providing Gelato, or block any user from using it, at any time and for any reason. You may stop using Gelato at any time by not using its commands; to also have your stored data removed, follow the deletion process in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

These terms may change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change with them, and material changes will be announced in the community server. Continuing to use Gelato after a change means you accept the updated terms.

4. 管理員裁量權

5. 服務可用性與免責

Gelato 以「現狀」提供，不保證可用性、正確性或資料不遺失。它運行於單一台機器上，可能因維護、升級、硬體故障或其他任何原因而離線，且不一定事先通知。經驗值與等級不具金錢價值，也不在社群伺服器之外賦予任何權利。

在法律允許的最大範圍內，營運者對因使用或無法使用 Gelato 而產生的任何損失概不負責，包括經驗值、等級或身分組的損失。

6. 你的資料

Gelato 為了運作等級系統會儲存少量關於你的資料。確切儲存內容、原因與刪除方式請見隱私權政策。

7. 終止

營運者得於任何時間、基於任何理由停止提供 Gelato，或禁止特定使用者使用。你隨時可以停止使用（不再使用其指令即可）；若同時希望刪除已儲存的資料，請依隱私權政策中的刪除流程辦理。

8. 條款變更

本條款可能變更。頁首的「最後更新」日期會一併更新，重大變更會在社群伺服器內公告。變更後繼續使用 Gelato 即視為接受更新後的條款。
